When Dr. Michael A. Civin founded Rose Hill Psychological Services back in 2007, he located it in a terrific area near Fordham University in the Bronx, he did so with something specific in mind. The purpose behind Rose Hill was to offer affordable high-quality psychological services to underserved populations at rates that made such services available to underserved populations. Over the last decade or so, their services have been so ocular that they have expended them to other locations, including an office on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and another in Mohegan Lake, New York.

At every one of those locations and in his private practice, Dr. Michael A. Civin, Ph.D. and his team of professionals have demonstrated a commitment to providing the best possible mental health services at a fair and affordable rate. A specialist in clinical psychology in the Bronx area of New York City for nearly three decades, Dr. Civin has long been a fixture in what has always been a close-knit New York City psychological services industry. In addition to being a senior psychologist at Rose Hill, Dr. Michael A. Civin, Ph.D. also works out of a private practice that serves patients in the Astoria, Manhattan and Bayville areas of New York City.

Of course, as is the case with any mental health professional, at the heart of everything is Michael A. Civin’s significant educational commitment over many years, starting with his graduation from Harvard in 1968 with his A.B. degree, which he earned cum laude. He also earned two Master of Arts degrees, in addition to his medical degree and his Ph.D. Dr. Michael Civil has also been a professor, faculty member, and associate professor at a number of institutions of higher learning at various times and he has also written many journal articles and book chapters.
