Dr. Michael Civin is a psychologist who has worked in psychology, both in the academics and the practice of the field, for many years. Psychology is not a field in which intuition alone allows someone to excel. On top of intuition, an individual must have an extensive educational background in the field and be well trained too. Dr. Michael Civin has the experience and educational background required to excel in the field and has put both to good use. Dr. Michael Civin has worked with adult, adolescent, group, adult, supervision, and psychodiagnostics. Dr. Michael Civin has also written a book exploring the idea of Internet psychology. This book is entitled Male Female Email: The struggle for relatedness in a paranoid society.
Dr. Michael Civin received a high quality education that started with his graduation from Harvard College in 1968. He graduated with cum laude honors and was awarded an A.B. degree. In 1970, Dr. Michael Civin received his first Masters of Arts degree from the University of Oregon. In 1986 he got his second Masters of Arts degree from Adelphi University. In 1988, Dr. Michael Civin was able to obtain his Ph.D. from the same institution, Adelphi University. In 1993, Dr. Michael Civin got his Postdoctoral Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
